Instruction
1. Soak & Prep
- Rinse the TWOROOTS sabudana thoroughly and soak it in just enough water for 30 minutes.
- Drain well to remove excess moisture and let it rest for 2 hours.
2. Cook the Sabudana
- In a pan, heat milk and bring it to a gentle boil.
- Add the soaked TWOROOTS sabudana and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes until the pearls turn translucent.
3. Add Sweetness & Flavor
- Stir in sugar and crushed cardamom. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 more minutes.
- If using saffron, soak it in a little warm milk and add it for extra richness.
4. Enhance with Nuts
- In a small pan, heat 1 tsp ghee and lightly roast the almonds, cashews, and raisins until golden.
- Add them to the kheer and mix well.
5. Serve & Enjoy
- Serve warm or chilled, garnished with more nuts if desired.
PRO TIP
For a richer taste, replace half the milk with condensed milk or coconut milk!
